Our plans: At 930 we are going to meet in the hotel lobby. We are going to hike through Hyde Park, passing Hyde Park Corner and Constitution Hill, to arrive at Buckingham Palace at about 1130 to watch the Changing of the Guards. After that we are going to cross St. James’s Park and the Horse Guards Parade to arrive at Whitehall which we are going to walk down to Westminster Bridge passing Downing Street and Big Ben. We are going to take a look at Westminster Palace/the Houses of Parliament from the famous Westminster Bridge. We are going to go to Westminster Pier then. There, we are going to take a boat trip to Greenwich. We are going to cross the Tower Bridge and the Tower while having that trip. We are going to see the Cutty Sark first. Afterwards, we are going to visit Greenwich college. Afterwards or before, we are going to have lunch at a River Thames Pub, maybe the Cutty Sark Tavern or the Trafalgar Tavern. After lunch, we are going to walk to Greenwich Observatory through Greenwich park. We may also hang on to the ongoing Greenwich Jazz and Beer Festival. We are going to go back via Dockland Light Railway crossing Canary Wharf and the new East End. In the evening, we are going to visit a pub in Bayswater and maybe we are going to enjoy some pub live songs or singing.

Our report: We met at the hostel lobby at about 9.30 and we went to our "Italian bistro" and had a breakfast. After that, we hiked through Hyde Park. We saw a lot of water and a swan family with its kids. They were only a bit aggressive. We saw Kensington Palace, the house of Lady Diana and Prince Charles. After passing the Serpent, Albert Memorial, Hyde Park Corner and Constitution Hill, we arrived at Buckingham Palace. We made a lot of photos. And some of our boys came to us and joined our society.
Because it was a Spring Bank Holiday there was no Changing of the Guards. But we saw a nice Biathlon. Then we went on and crossed St. James´s Park and the Horse Guards Parade, where the Queen celebrates her big birthday party every year. We went to Westminster Pier and made a Thames boat trip to Greenwich. There we had lunch at a very old pub with the name "Cutty Sark". It was nice and delicious. Afterwards, we visited Greenwich college. At the same time, there was a beer and rock festival, where you could try over 150 beer varieties. But it was too expensive and so we went to Greenwich Observatory through Greenwich park. We took photos from the meridian and spent some time to watch London from above. After that some of us went back to the hostel and the rest went to Covent Garden. Some of the girls went through the Disney Shop and bought some presents. That was not so nice for the boys :-) Afterwards we visited a very old pub called "The Lamb and Flag". It was over 200 years old and we saw really nice and good-looking men there . We drank a beer and talked together. Finally we hiked to Leicester Square and our teacher left us there to prepare himself for his theatre night.
That was our day, without a blister on our feet!!!!
