My family’s ethnicity is white and I am third generation American, my Grandfather came from England and my Grandmother came from Ireland. They went to Canada first before they came to America and lived there for a while and then they came to America and became citizens. They came to be able to start a family in a country know for its freedoms that are granted to its citizens. I like living in southern California because the weather is always good and it is the ideal place to live in California. There are some racial discrimination that you have to deal with sometimes because there are so many ethnicities in California that occasionally you are picked on due to your race so you have to deal with those problems sometimes. The picture is accurate on how the Mexican Americans come to America for freedom and jobs. It shows the different ways that they try to get into America and how they view America as a saving grace to better their lives and the lives of their children.
