dot1.gif - 34 Bytes Hello everybody on the globe and especially Fritz Capell, Hilary Peck, Jacob Roth, Sara Scarpelli, Kyle Jensen, Cyrus Severance, Tom Spooner, Lisa Steimle, Joe Persons and Erica Thiel of Professor Laurie McLary's 202 German course in Portland as well as Eric Appleton's GED computer course in NYC and Wendy Quinones's GED course in Massachussetts!

We are a class of students of the pre-university college for adults and we want to pass the university access examination. In our class there are 6 women. We are as different as can be and our collective age adds up to many years including our teacher of English, Mr. Seidensticker. We are very interested in talking English and we would like to have contact with a class in the US. We are looking forward to reading from you soon.
Bye-Bye, Yours, "The Millers"

Hello Portland and everybody else on the globe!
Germany is calling! Here's the morning course of the 5th semester. It's 8:15 and we are starting once more to get our university access examination on the pre-university college for adults. Our school building is in the town centre of Bielefeld. It is so small that there are only 5 classrooms. We are 6 students with 6 different motives to learn. Some of us need the examination to continue studying at university, some do it for their own knowledge. We are from 22 to 35 years old and everyone of us has a different way of life. There are 5 mothers and one assistant of a veterinarian in our class. Everyone of us hopes to reach the best results of his doing. Surely it will be great to hear about your American way of life. Greetings, waiting for your response. Course 5m

Introducing our class
We are a class of a pre-university college for adults. The group consists of 6 women between 22 and 35. Our aim is the university access examination in November 2001. Our schooltimes are from 8 to 12 in the morning and everyone has either a job or a family to care for. In spite of the different characters we all love each other and we all laugh about each other. So you can see we have much fun and we also meet in the free time and friendships have come into being among the people. In May 1999 we visited London; if you are interested you can look up the report on our web-site. WE are very curious to know who YOU are and we are looking forward to your answer.
Ciao! "The Millers"
