In this text passage the questions are from Germany and the answers are from the Argentine:

Hello friends! Here you have the replies to some of your questions:

What is your average age?
Our average age is 26

What is your hometown?
Our hometown is Merlo, which is in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

What are your plans for your future?
We would like to finish studying English to be able to communicate fluently and effectively with English speakers.

What kind of school do you attend?
It is an English Institute, it means that we only come here to learn English, because it is a foreign language. We spend 3 hours a week and we study language, grammar and phonetics.

What examinations do you pass?
We take an exam every year and after we finish the 6th year we take the final exam. After this exam you can teach at primary level but it's not advisable. You have to study 4 more years to become a Teacher of English and be able to teach at all levels.

How many hours by day do you work in your jobs?
The average time we spend working is about six to eight hours.

What language do you normally use?
We use Spanish.

Are you interested in politics or environmental questions?
Yes. We are very concerned about political issues and environmental problems such as the ozone layer, endangered animals, the disappearance of the rainforests. We think that people in the northern hemisphere do not care enough about pollution, because they do not see the consequences in the southern hemisphere.

What do you do in your free time?
In Argentina we do not have much free time. We have to go now, our mates will go on answering your questions soon, and we are also preparing some questions to ask you.

From hereon, the questions come from Buenos Aires and the answers from Bielefeld

Hi everybody in the Argentine! It took us a while to respond to your questions,
but you did not show up with another mail either
We all hope to hear from you a second time at least. So long!

Hello everybody! How are you doing? We have some questions for you, here they are:

How are things getting on in Germany after the fall of the Berlin Wall, socially, economically and politically speaking? Is it true that there still exist "two Germanies"?
First of all, nearly all the people in "both" Germanies were very happy in 89, when the Wall was taken down. For both Germanies this was for sure
the biggest event in this century. Everyone was pleased with it. In the
years after that, time showed that the Communist regime nearly ruined the
East-German economy. The miserable economy had also very strong impact on German social life.
Those problems have not been solved till today.
The newly elected Social Democratic Party of Germany in coalition with
the Green Party haven't found a solution for those problems right now.
Because of those cicumstances the old East-German Communist Party
tries to regain its political power.
In fact, the people, who have lived in the former Communist system for a long time and
who now can't keep the pace of change are very dissatisfied with their
lives and the new democratic system.
So those people still believe that there should be a border between East
and West.
Well, that's all for now we are looking forward to hearing from you.
Bye,bye

After the 2nd World War and the Holocaust, how come that Neo-nazism and Hitler's ideas' worshippers keep coming out of Europe, especially Germany?
It is not easy to answer your question, because this topic is very emotional and comprehensive, but we simply try...
We are sure you know that political, social and economic
changes have taken place in Europe. For example: breakdown of the Comunist block;
general economic crises; new currencies; integration of lots of
fugitives. Social and economic conditions favour the increase of
nationalistic groups in membership. Racist and Nationalist opinions are
kept up by the older generation. Because of that development there are
similar conditions anywhere in Europe, but Germany is more present in
the media, because of its catastrophic historical background
(Bergen-Belsen, Auschwitz).
Now, that´s all for now. Looking forward to hearing from you.

What's your opinion about South Americans? About our culture? Our language? Our organizations? Do you know about us?
Hello everybody in Argentina!!! We know that you have big problem with the rainforest.
Are you engaged for the environment, or are you not so interested in
this problem?
We want to know something about the Indians. Do they live freely in the
rainforest?
We don't know so much about your culture, can you tell us a little bit
about it?
Also we are not very informed about your language. Is it only Spanish?
Who discovered Argentina?
Was it a Spaniard?
We have a lot of Argentinian steakhouses here in Germany.
Do you eat a lot of steaks, or are you vegetarians, like our Dirk and
Anne?
At the moment Latin-music like Ricky Martin is very popular.
For the moment that's all from us .
